Pemberdayaan Jemaat Melalui Pengembangan Media Digital Dalam Pelayanan Gereja: Studi Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat Di GMIM Eben Haezer Koha

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) was carried out by the State Christian Institute of Manado (IAKN Manado) at GMIM Eben Haezer Koha with 46 participants consisting of church youth, church workers and congregation members. Participants were given a choice of four multimedia training programmes; photography (14 participants), EasyWorship (12 participants), flyer design using Canva (10 participants) and video editing (10 participants). The program included thematic seminars, practical workshops, worship activities, ecotheological tree-planting activities, and participatory discussions. The evaluation was done using pre-tests, post-tests and practical assessments. The results indicated that the participants’ knowledge had improved significantly, where the mean score increased from the pre-test of 27.75 to the post-test of 88.25. The results of the practical assessment also indicated a high achievement of competencies with an average score of 86.25. The results show that multimedia-based capacity building programs are effective in improving digital ministry skills and enhancing church services in the digital are.
